Narrative: On behalf of the Kent County Great Start Collaborative and First Steps, CRI worked with more than 40 community partners to generate dozens of potential indicators that were then vetted and analyzed with an eye toward national best practice. The list was culled further based on a number of factors, including data availability, reliability and relevance to the core elements of Kent County's early childhood community vision. This presentation, delivered June 16 and 17 to a Believe 2 Become project Baby Scholars event, highlights some of the baseline data for Kent County's early childhood indicators.
