Michigan Benefits Access Initiative: Role of the Office of Foundation Liaison


Narrative: The Michigan Benefits Access Initiative (MBAI) started as a technology and community outreach strategy for connecting Michigan's most vulnerable families to government benefits. The work moved to the Department of Human Services and is now called Michigan Benefits Access (MBA). This case study describes the role of the Office of Foundation Liaison (OFL) as one of the key players in developing the MBAI.
